UPCOMING AND AIRING
TV/MOVIE APPEARANCES
 'MERLIN' UK
Anthony will be appearing in a new BBC 1 (UK)
13 x one-hour part series called 'Merlin', which will air on Saturday evenings in
September 2008. The series will focus on the early life of Merlin, the wizard featured in
the legend of Camelot, and Arthur. Anthony will play Uther Pendragon, the king, and
Arthur's father.
The series also stars Michelle Ryan, John
Hurt, Santiago Cabrera, and Richard Wilson. They are joined by Colin Morgan as Merlin,
Bradley James as the young Arthur and Angel Coulby as Guinevere.

'MERLIN' USA
NBC (USA) announced in their 2008 fall line-up
that 'Merlin' will air in the winter of 2008/09 on Sunday nights from 8 - 9pm. A US air
date will be announced when it becomes available. For more information please visit the

MERLIN' CANADA
Merlin is scheduled to air on CTV in Canada. A
Canadian air date will be announced when available.
'MERLIN' AUSTRALIA
'Merlin' is scheduled to air in Australia, on
the *TEN network, during 2009.

REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA -
RELEASE DATES

Anthony will be appearing in 'Repo! The
Genetic Opera', a horror musical for Lionsgate Films. Anthony plays the lead character,
Nathan Wallace/Repo Man, a father during the day and organ repossessor at night.
A Repo! soundtrack is scheduled for release in
North America on September 30th, 2008.
The movie is scheduled for release in North
America on November 7th, 2008.
The DVD of Repo is scheduled for release in
North America in January 2009. |

NEW TV/MOVIE ROLES
'RIPPER'
We can now confirm that 'Ripper' may be given
a green light for development. Although one step nearer the possibility of becoming a
reality, it is still subject to there being a script. If made, it would be a one-off 90
minute TV movie.
If and when more information becomes available
it will be announced here on Anthony's website.

UPCOMING
AND AIRING RADIO WORK
'BLEAK EXPECTATIONS: SERIES 2'
Anthony is starring as Mr Gently Benevolent in
the second six part series of 'Bleak Expectations', which started on Thursday, August 7th,
from 6.30pm - 7.00pm on BBC Radio 4. Visit the Radio 4 *website for full
information and a 'Listen Live/Listen Again' feature.
This is the second volume of Mark Evans's
comic Victorian epic, in the style of Charles Dickens – after too much gin. Evil
villain Mr Gently Benevolent is brought back from the dead by the terrifying Sternbeater
family to destroy the life of young Pip Bin, inventor of the bin and one of the wealthiest
young men in Britain.

FUNDRAISERS
CORFU DONKEY RESCUE APPEAL
Corfu Donkey Rescue has launched an
international appeal to raise €150,000. Time is running out. CDR has to relocate to
new premises. This means purchasing land, acquiring licenses, and building stables,
hospital and hay barns. If this target is not achieved Corfu Donkey Rescue will have to
close its doors and evict its 50+ four-legged residents. Please check out the CDR *website for more

ALFIE We
fully appreciate that there are many, many people and animals world wide in desperate need
of financial and medical help |
| and we wish that we could help them all but
sadly that is an impossible task. Sarah and I are supporting Alfie as his owners were
unable to pay for the treatment and as a result Alfie has been 'adopted' by countless dog
owners around the UK who are all joining forces to help this gorgeous pup. He lives with

GILES THE DONKEY'S ADVENTURE TO RAISE FUNDS
FOR 'SAFE HAVEN FOR DONKEYS IN THE
HOLY LAND***Giles, a
cuddly knitted donkey, has begun a world-wide journey to raise much-need funds for Safe
Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land.
Giles, who is named after Anthony's character on Buffy the
Vampire Slayer, began his journey at the home of Anthony and Sarah. It is hoped that this
will be the start of many adventures for the intrepid Giles, who even has his own blog to
share photos and details of his travels. You can visit his blog *here.

ROYAL UNITED HOSPITAL BATH'S
FOREVER FRIENDS APPEAL
Please support our fundraiser for the Royal
United Hospital Bath's Forever Friends Appeal! Anthony has autographed a limited number of
programmes from the Jamie Cullum 'Live on the Rec' concert that was held in July 2005.
These autographed programmes are available for a donation of £25 or more to the Forever
Friends Appeal. This appeal is open to global participation and credit cards will be
accepted.
This is a great opportunity to own this
limited edition signed programme and help the Forever Friends Appeal. Anthony is a Patron
of the Royal United Hospital Appeal. The fundraiser will be ongoing while supplies last.

rescued another male donkey that has been named Giles 2. If you would like to make a gift

drafted by someone who obviously felt passionately about this subject. I feel strongly
enough to ask Liz to include the Ministerio de Cultura de Costa Rica contact details below
on the site - please look into these allegations and perhaps write something yourself. At
least Google the artist and check his "artwork" out - there's a YouTube piece
that includes the "exhibit" itself and it's heartbreaking. For myself, I find
